Real Sheepskin Rug Classic Premium New Zealand Sheepskin Rug Quarto White
A very popular sheepskin rug size that will fit nicely in most homes. All our Classic's rugs are premium grade and feature densely packed wool fibers that are so soft you just want to touch them!
We only keep the natural Ivory White color in stock. As the dyed rugs are all made to order, we can't cancel an order if work has started on your rug and exchanges/refunds aren't possible (unless defective).
As the gentler woolskin tanning used to produce these sheepskin rugs doesn't have a strong bleaching action, the Ivory Whitecolor is generally closer to the natural color of sheep; it is normally a creamy white with some yellow to it.
Both tip dyed colors are Ivory White with dyed tips:
Brown Tip: White with brown tips
Grey Tip: White with grey tips giving a grey/light blue look to the ends
Due to the way the natural wool absorbs the dye, precise uniform coloring of the tips is not possible. Some tip-dyed rugs may have heavier, darker looking dyeing than others.
Note the colors in swatch/example images may not be precise due to light distortion when photographing and reproduction of the images on differing computer screens. Furthermore the dyeing of natural sheepskin wool can vary due variations in the uptake of the dye into the wool fibers and differences between batches of dye.
At Flat Rate, we use organic products in our cleaning, which are gentle on your rug, but tough on dirt; these green products will protect it, leaving it free of chemicals and detergent residues. We also use a specially designed wire brush in a heat and light-free drying room to restore the rug’s fluffy texture. This ensures your sheepskin rug is returned to an optimal condition.

How To Care for Natural Fibre Products
Vacuum often will help mantain the sheepskin fibre
Give a gentle shake to fluff up the fleece
Long wool merino sheepskin may be brushed with a wire wool comb. Brushing is not recommended on shorn
Gently wipe up any stains with a clean damp cloth without spreading stain further
Spot clean with clean water and damp cloth
Gentle wool soap may be used for spot cleaning only
Do not use chemical agents
Do not bleach

Dyed /colours keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fibre damage and colour fading from the sunlight UV rays

Q: Where are your rugs measured from?
A: We measure our sheepskin rugs wool side up from end to end (longest and widest points). These rugs are not measured by the size of the suede backing.
